︎︎︎Positions in Contemporary Art: Europe Across Borders

Juan Alejandre is a Spanish-born, London-based artist whose practice explores the visual language of administration, bureaucracy, and personal archives. He is the recipient of the Vice-Chancellor’s Award and graduated with a BA in Fine Art and History of Art from Goldsmiths, University of London. He works with objects, documents, and systems of classification to examine how identity and memory are shaped through institutional forms. Juan is currently completing a studio scholarship under the V22 Art Foundation.
