Gabriela Pelczarska is a London-based artist whose practice explores the intersections of urban research, materiality, and automotive technology. Pelczarska’s research delves into the intersections of technology, urban control, and aesthetics, questioning how these elements shape our perception of space and identity in the contemporary world. Her work engages with the mundane occurrences of globalisation and automotive culture, with an emphasis on contemporary existence. It explores the delicate irony between industrial processes, technology, psychology, and playfulness within urban environments, juxtaposed with the artistic use of materiality. Pelczarska holds an MFA from Goldsmiths University and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Sculpture from Brighton University.
Works by Pelczarska have been exhibited at The Rum Factory; Unit1 Gallery; OhshProjects; The Bottle Factory; Hypha Studios at Hackney Downs Studios (all London, 2025); Split Riviera, London and Zerui Gallery (both London, 2024), among others.
